Isuzu Philippines has given the D-MAX pickup truck a facelift to give its 2010 edition a fresher look.
The most striking change on the 2010 Isuzu D-MAX is its radiator grille and chrome hood ornament that hones the pickup truck's already muscular image. Isuzu has also replaced the D-MAX's fog lamp garnishes, added a new step tube, and plastered a 4x4 decal on the pickup truck's four-wheel drive version.
Inside the truck, the driver and passengers are greeted by the refined D-MAX cabin with new chrome aircon vent bezels, chrome shift gate bezel, and chrome speaker bezels.
"It doesn't matter if our vehicles, like the very popular D-MAX, are still selling well. We will continue to add new features so that our customers get the best value for their money. Ford Police Interceptors earn official pursuit ratings.
The Michigan State Police have officially graced the Ford Police Interceptor line with a Pursuit-Rated designation after a volley of tests. Both the Interceptor Sedan and Utility withstood the organization's battery of 0-60, braking and handling evaluations over a period of two days. And, the results?
According to Ford, both vehicles offer increased fuel economy and performance compared to the outgoing Crown Victoria Police Interceptor thanks to the use of the company's 3.5-liter turbocharged Ecoboost V6. With 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, the engine offers more grunt than the old 4.6-liter V8 with a smaller appetite for fuel.
The addition of a larger alternator and radiator means that the forced-induction six-pot can now handle the abuse that patrol duty can wreak on a vehicle. In addition, Ford says that its offerings are the only law-enforcement-specification options on the market right now specifically engineered to protect occupants from a 75 mph rear-end collision.
While both the Sedan and Utility have received the thumbs up from the Mitten State, the Los Angeles Police Department will also put the vehicles through the ringer in November.

Armchair quarterbacks have been quick to charge Toyota with losing its engineering nerve, labeling it a brand content to churn out safe, middle-of-the-road milquetoast offerings for every segment in which it competes. The second generation of the Lexus GS premiered in 1997 for the 1998 model year. The Lexus GS was now known as the GS 400. The GS 300 was offered with the original 3.0L inline 6 engine upgraded to 228 horsepower.
